Booking terms
What follows is how a booking actually works. If something does not fit, write to us before paying and we will sort it out.
Deposit and balance
To confirm a booking you pay a 30 % deposit online. The rest is paid on arrival at the lodge.
At the lodge we accept Visa, international transfer, cash and PayPal (PayPal with an additional 6 %).
While you complete payment the cabin is held for you for a short while. If you do not finish, it becomes available again: it is not blocked indefinitely for anyone.
What the price includes
The prices you see already include taxes: what the screen says is what you pay.
A cabin’s price covers two people unless its listing says otherwise. From the third person on, an amount per person per night is added, which the form itemises before you pay.
In Bocas del Toro each night includes one experience. At San Blas experiences are charged separately. In both cases the form applies this automatically and shows it in the total.
The Manakin dorm and the Titi room are sold per bed, not as a whole unit.
Children
Children under 8 do not pay in any of the cabins. Do include them when booking so we know how many are coming and can prepare accordingly.
Capacity
Each cabin has a maximum number of guests and the form will not let you book beyond it. If you are a large group, write to us and we will put together the combination of cabins that works.
Getting there
Both locations are remote: San Blas Mountain is on the road towards Guna Yala, and Bocas del Toro is reached by boat. Coordinate your arrival with us before you travel, especially if it is your first time.
